MY PHILOSOPHY

My work is rooted in helping each person achieve a sense of wholeness. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and at peace living in their own body. One of the greatest joys of teaching is watching clients discover new awareness in how they move, breathe, and connect to themselves through each exercise.

We are given one body, and it deserves care, respect, and thoughtful movement. I love guiding clients on a journey where functional movement can reduce pain, prevent injury, and support rehabilitation after injury. My goal is for every client to leave feeling stronger, taller, more focused, and deeply fulfilled.

Pilates transformed the way I moved—both as a dancer and in everyday life. My training in kinesiology and Laban technique sparked a curiosity for movement modalities that could enhance my performance and longevity as a dancer. When I discovered Pilates, I found my niche. Throughout my years in the fitness industry, I’ve integrated my diverse experience to thoughtfully adapt and enhance the Pilates method for each individual body.

I practice Pilates because I love motion and movement. It continually challenges me, pushes me beyond my comfort zone, and reveals strengths I never knew I had. I’m always inspired by the resilience, balance, and power that consistent practice brings.

I teach Pilates to make a meaningful impact—supporting those who seek movement, healing, and rehabilitation, and helping them feel more at home in their bodies. As Joseph Pilates said, “Not only is health a normal condition, but it is our duty not only to attain it, but to maintain it.”

Is this right for you?

This practice is for you if you’re seeking more than just a workout. If you want to move with intention, feel stronger and more comfortable in your body, and develop awareness that supports your daily life, you’re in the right place.

Whether you’re managing pain, recovering from injury, returning to movement, or simply wanting to move better and feel more connected to your body, sessions are thoughtfully tailored to your needs. If you value personalized guidance, mindful movement, and long-term well-being, this approach will support you every step of the way.

What we do:

Assess movement patterns, mobility, strength, and stability to identify deficits from injury or surgery. Design individualized plans that progress safely from guided, assisted movement to independent, confident function. Restore efficient movement strategies that translate directly to daily tasks, work demands, and athletic activities. Emphasize pain-free range, joint protection, balance, and neuromuscular control to reduce re-injury risk. Integrate task-specific training so gains carry over to real-world activities (lifting, reaching, walking, standing work, sport-specific mechanics).

Who it’s for:

Clients transitioning from physical therapy who need continued, structured progression toward full function. Individuals rebuilding movement capacity after recent or past injury. Those wanting to proactively strengthen movement patterns to prevent future injury. Anyone seeking higher confidence and independence in daily activities or return to sport/work.

Session structure:

Initial comprehensive movement and history assessment. Clearly defined goals and timeline tailored to personal needs. Progressive sessions combining corrective exercises, strength and conditioning, mobility work, balance, and functional task rehearsal. Ongoing reassessment and adjustment to ensure steady, measurable progress. Education on movement strategies and home programs to support long-term recovery and resilience.

Outcomes you can expect:

Improved movement efficiency and reduced compensations. Increased strength, stability, and joint control relevant to daily life and activities. Better balance and confidence performing routine tasks and higher-demand activities. Lowered risk of future injury through durable, repeatable movement patterns. Clear path from rehabilitation to independent, sustainable function.
